There are plenty of great American brews, but like the one I posted last night, they're almost all interpretations of European brews. Allagash, Stone, Victory, Ommegang, Weirbacher... all good stuff, but all primarily focused on imitating very specific Belgian and German style ales.I can't agree with that statement, but different strokes for different strokes.
I've got Southern Tier and Guinness in the fridge now plenty of great brews around here now. I think there are 7 now within an hours drive, the one 10 minutes from me grows their own ingredients on site.
