1400 square feet. I'm also not getting great fan speed. It's not going any faster then when it first started. You stand 6 feet away you can barely feel it. The distribution fan is also very hot, telling me the stove is. Should there be a noticable difference in speeds between low and hi?
The flame guide is missing off this and the pellets in the tray aren't burning properly. There's a flat steel steel plate instead. The air flow is getting sucked back towards the auger. If iI spread them out it's works better. This.morning it was 78 and nothing in the pot was burning except around the auger. The pot was full to the edge. You can see it there. Ordered one on line thinking I'd be okay. Picking a more expensive from the dealer today. And it burn another 3/4 of a bag since noon yesterday.

Well now my heat won't turn down. The tech I was dealing with mentioned that the control board knobs have issues. Which means I probably have a bad one. I ventured it down from 5 to 3 and no temperature change. When I moved it the feed like light blinked indicating a change. Is there anything else it could be?

Take some contact cleaner, when the stove is off and unplugged, spray the potentiometers and spin them back and forth a few times…deoxit works the best

How long can go before doing a clean out. I clean the pot out a couple times a day by just opening the door and shovelling it out? I am cleaning it out Sunday when it warms up. I know the ash bin will be getting close to full . I'm running it at 4-5, but when the deep freeze arrives Monday it will be on 6-7 for a few days, if it can heat it at 0 f. Ran it on 4.5 last night and it maintained 72. Dropped to 10 outside.

I will scrape the burnpot daily and empty the ash can when it’s about half full maybe 20bags

Okay thanks, that gives me a good idea. I scrape first think in the mornings and when there's a pile up.which is maybe a couple of times a day. I'm going through at these temps 2 bags a day.
Okay guys how do I get max heat out of this stove. That polar vortex will be here Monday night and it's going to be 4 days in the negative numbers.

Are you running on stove temp or room temp(with a temp probe)?

you’ll use less on room temp if you have a probe plugged in at the back of the stove…

I have a remote from the quadrafire has a temp gauge on it
With the temps coming I'm doubting it's capable of even (running on 7) keeping it warm. It seems I'm having a major heat loss with wind winds over 10 mph, there's been a 20 degree temp change up at low winds. But maybe 2 degrees inside at 15-20 mph. During the last 12 hrs burned 3/4 of a bag at same setting. So with sub zero temps coming with same wind levels it's a concern. With low or no winds I've maintained low 70s at 10. It was suppose to drop to 8 but never got there stalled at 15 had. Maybe I should let you know when I have to start humping wood. It's going to be test. The Quadrafire failed the last one also but this one's going to be colder.

Maybe post some more photos of your setup from a distance…do you have any ceiling fans or box fans moving air around? How’s the insulation in your place…-25c here the last 2 nights and my place was 21c front to back 1500sq ft

Oh yaa, I have a box fan which does a great job. What setting heat setting are you on? Insulation isn't that great. It's got pink insulation inside and out with vapour barrier
R values no idea. The house is 1930's coal mining town. I have 3 bad windows up stairs that we stuck insulation in today while he was here measuring for replacement. Upstairs is also insulated. I know it's leaking but we haven't found the holes. I have a pro coming in Thursday too heat scam it. It's just the front that has the issue. Back is 1980 with 6 inch walls. This cold I would heat with wood, So this will be my first "cold weather" with a Harman. I still have a Quadrafire that didn't cut the last one, which wasn't near as cold
And I've had this 5 days do I have no idea what it's capable of. I don't normally use this space, so that's why I didn't know about it. The back doesn't have the issue but this part is still warmer, even though winds at this end tend to suck 3 degrees out of the house. So that's the story.... The challenge starts sometime tomorrow afternoon. Oh it's 1200 square ft. Coldest I had to deal with had been 8-10 degrees. Oh the Quadrafire needed cleaning twice a day, the big bonus of this is you can clean it on the run. Stopping and cleaning in my experience is a lose of 3-4 degrees which can be difference of warm and not. This one's been running for 4 days and I expect for at least another 3 before it gets a good cleaning.

Settings are 4 and 4 on room temp manual
K thanks the purpose of the excessive is to not have to to hump wood. They want $1500 for piping to hook the Quadrafire up to the fire stove piping, which is ridiculous. I'm quite sure the 2 of them will keep this place warm. And Washed up, at those settings I'd keep it warm in here at about 20, maybe a little lower.
