Apparently in Rocky Point there was a mudslide; I read that tops of cars were covered in mud.
All small places on the north shore.

They'll likely declare a state of emergency to get some state help.

Nothing severe but we have received 1.39 inches of rain since it started yesterday.

Since the rain started just over two days ago (some quick hitters) we've received 1.89 inches, we had some heavy rains yesterday but today was the heaviest.

They aren't sure this will happen but it's worth following for us since we had all the damage from Debbie.

Nothing severe but from the last rain we received, we had another half inch in the gauge. This weekend looks like our next chance for rain.

It was 38* here. House got down to 67, which is chilly to me (I keep the mini split set at 76* for AC). I was cold all morning while wearing a sweatshirt. I haven't uncapped the pellet stove's exhaust and OAK. Did think briefly about starting the mini split in the office, but it was just a passing thought.

Once the sun cleared the trees on the east side, I opened all the curtains and shades to let the solar gain in. Never got above 68* outside, but did get it up to 73* inside.

Will be the same today except I think it is supposed to get into the mid 70's, so might have windows open this afternoon.

We received half an inch of rain yesterday so I'll let the grass dry out more before mowing.
