The outside temp tonight is 28 with a forecast low of 26 from NOAA. The basement temp is starting out at 75 (had a fire after supper) the temps up here are 70 & 71. The overnight load is mostly pine except for one split of Ironwood from last year.

Was 32 this morning. Loaded with red oak, maple and uglies and cutoffs. House was 64 this morning. Bringing temps up.

Edit: STT 650 house temp 70 now

We had a low of 22.1 this morning, the basement temp started off at 70 with the temps up here 67 & 68. The first load of pine has been going in the wood stove.

The first morning was well below 0 c at -8.9 C. The First fire in the wood furnace
house nice and toasty now.
Temps. going up through the next couple of weeks so maybe no fire in the furnace for a while
The pellet stove has handled it so far.
Deer Season starts tomorrow lads are not happy to warm the temps have been well above seasonal here
It might be a hard hunt!!

Getting the stove going to warm the house up. 40s and rain today going to be out working dogs in the morning so a warm house will be appreciated on return.

Snow level is jumping up from 3-4000 ft to 10,000 ft temporarily. Then, tomorrow night a strong front will be pushing though and with it colder temps. Looks like we'll be burning again on Tuesday.

I sat at a baseball game if my son this morning at 8. It was 39 and windy. Sun was out but my car seat felt great at 11 after the sun warmed it up....

Minisplit today.

We have an outside temp of 28.2 tonight, the basement temp is starting out at 73 with the temps up here 69 & 70. Another load of softwood is going in the wood stove.

We had a low of 34.2 this morning, the basement temp started out at 70 with the temps up here at 68. Another shoulder season fire is going in the wood stove.

It looks like the temps this week will be on the rise, I'm not sure how long it will last but we'll take it.

Stove still warm this morning from the load I put in before bed. 29 last night. Load of oak, birch and ash with uglies in the gaps. Quick secondaries this morning. 34 outside now.

Warm weather headed our way again. Won’t have a fire after today.

Stove was still warm this morning and had a few coals after 12 hours but not enough to light on its own. Started with no ash bed so slowly building it up. Starting out at 66-67 in the house, in went a Load of red/white oak, birch and cherry this morning. Temps going to warm up tomorrow and for at least the next week so not much action for the stove after today.

No fire since Saturday night, might have one tomorrow night or Wednesday. We're in one of those warmish wet patterns right now with highs in the 50's & 60's and lows in the 40's & 50's. Tough draft, easy to overheat the house, warm inside when we go to bed, a little chilly in the morning.

Weather here has been like a normal beginning of fall would be. Seems like we're a month behind. I haven't been burning, and I'm saving more wood every day! 🤏👌
I'd like to burn a small test load to check a stove repair I did...when a cold day finally gets here.

Left the f400 loaded with top down set up for wife the other day. Not sure if she lit it or not.

Had the 118 clone going out here in utah the last few days and got it hot enough to burn of the top of the stove pipe that never got hot enough before. Aspen and maybe a piece of gambrel oak.

No fire in it today though as we are having NW gusts and those winds can cause back puffs.

Made my first fire since Saturday night this morning. House is chilly (62-64), high of 50 today. 1 - 5" ash round to hopefully provide some coals for tonight and 4 pine & aspen.
