New to group. Bought a used Jotul gas Allahash.. Love it. Need to replace the glass gasket seal but that’s pretty easy.
Question is it would be great to get some heat off the sides. Has anyone ever heard of making any modifications to either the right or left heat deflector? In this case it would just be the right side. Thx
Great forum.

Does your stove have a blower to move warmed air? If so, the hottest part of the stove is the top & the blower moves the air over that area to pick up heat. If you modify the sheet metal on the rear, you’ll get less heat off the top.
