I didnt say that a bk couldnt do it. Just that there is no point in using a stove that excells at low and slow to bring a cabin up to temp. I spend a fair ammout of time at several different cabins and if you go there for a weekend when it is in the 20s outside you will be running the stove as hard as you xan for the first day to bring everything up to temp. Even after that the stuff still isnt that warm if you sit in one spot for to long you feel that cold so the whole weekend you will be running the stove hard.I understand everything like I said but I am going to disagreed with that statement because I did use mine on weekends only for awhile and also to heat a near 2400sf old leaky house with no problems when I installed the first one. I never has to run it wide open all the time. Actually there is no need to run it like that to get heat out of it.
Because of that a cat stoves strenghts will slmost never be used.
