It is the better way. 56,000 sq ft being heated + dhw. Switching from LP to wood saves $40,000/year. There is no fuel source available that beats round wood at DP's location. And most of the wood is bought at market rates from stove wood suppliers. Jobs for loggers, wood cutters, etc. and $$$ to the local economy rather than to Big Oil and Gas. Plus, carbon neutral.
