There is a reason that Quads are used up here with extended extreme cold and extreme heat from 24 hours of daylight.
If your magic coating is working so good just go with single pane units
The Quads work up here to keep heat inside when it's cold out and heat out when it's hot outside, nothing else holds a candle to them.

I like the heat gain from south facing windows in winter and shade them in summer to stop the unwanted heat gain.
i can also close the inside drapes in winter or summer to either insulate at night or block sun during the day.
Pretty simple solution.
