saw the thread title. my immediate reaction - "oh noooooooooooooo!"

Ended up with 12 bags of GAPs for $4.75/ea from my local stove shop. Even though they are made only 35 mins from me, I've never burned them before.

I hope they burn cleaner for you than they did for me earlier in the season....they were loaded with ash but did give good heat....

just realized im down to only 39 bags not enough since my oil drinking monster hasn't been awoken this year

Im sure they'll burn fine, Im not worried about ash, I can do a month without touching the ash. Most of it goes out the exhaust anyway and the rest I let the burn chamber fill up til its about coming out the door when I open it.

Went to the local TSC and they were out of pellets even though they had some when I called a few days ago. Looks like I'm heading to the local stove shop for 10-15 bags of GAP's at premium pricing Saturday morning.
not sure where upstate PA is... other side of the tunnel in allentown/trexlertown TSC has (had since friday) six tons of Chit River

Down to 29 bags, I really hope its enough cause the dino burner is out of commission at this point, it only blows COLD air. The long range forecast looks promising but I do live in the northeast so anything could happen.

I have about 10-12 bags left, but my sister has 1/2 ton and will lend me a few if I run out.
There are none to be found at Blowes and Homo Dope-o.

Ya, I think im heading to TSC in New milford Tmrw. They are 50min away, but dont know where else to get them. They have "Preimium" brand for $4.69. No where else has any and I am down to a few bags of GT.

I just called Primo Pellets in Walingford.
They have:
Hammers Hot Ones
Green gold
Appalachian
Energex
Power house

person on phone said all at $6/bag or $269/ton.
Prices here are different per ton:'http://primopellets.com/

So do I go here and buy a ton or just go to Tractor Supply?

agway in Southington had energex as of Saturday afternoon. 6.99 a bag though

yup, its almost $7 a bag for the horse bedding at TSC.

My local supplier is out of everything except New England pellets and they are limiting them to 10 bags. I picked up 10 more of the ton I bought and have 20 more to go.
That better be enough for this season because I've had enough of dealing with pellets before I have to do it again in June for next year. What a freakin climate to live in.

Those PREMIUMS at TSC are MWP !!... grabbed a ton two weeks ago and like them a lot. Been mixing them with the awful Green Supremes for a nice end of season blend. You have been warned to grab what ever you can get your hands on !!! !

This place is the same distance from me. What about a ton of Maine's Choice Premium Grade pellets for $199/ton or Energex American Wood Pellets for $229/ton

I had to buy 10 more bags as well, picked up Crabbe's Softwoods, wanted to try a new brand. I am pretty sure that I won't buy these again, heavy dark ash, first clinker of the season.

Just opened my last ton. Should have started the softies earlier as that is all I have left now. Stove running on low most of the time, or off. Temps going back up in the 50's so will be shutting the stove down during the day.
