Hey all..

Im trying to figure out if this is silver maple or sugar maple….

Anyone know for sure from these pics?

Same for me, Sugar Maple, alot of times you can tell by how many times the tree has compartmentalized, meaning there is a lot of limb drop with a silver Maple, not as pretty on the trunk, bumpy
 
Taste it! Looks like a lot in the center. I'd say its sugar. Don't let anyone see you licking your wood!
 
Tough from the photos. But my mind says that's sugar maple.
