first time heard of RTV, I am a rookie, thank you I will check it.
By the way, do you think first time break in 400 degree, keep rough 1 hour, is there any damage to any parts?
Red RTV will work well. It's what has been holding our stove gasket for the past 4 yrs. Put about a 1/4" bead in the gasket trough. Not too much or there will be ooze. Press the gasket into place without stretching. Close the door on a full sheet of newspaper and let it set up for 12 hrs.

Good luck with installer tomorrow. Let us know how it goes.
Installer( NFI MHP guy ) came today and put the rutland gasket cement on. I talked a little with him about break-in fires etc.

Here is what he said------
like I said, once this finally gets burning, you'll smell it and then it'll go away, but it's the first hot fire that does it. That's why I do it right off the bat, the first one you get it done with and then the other, you're just letting the stove kind of learn how to work together. It's not as imperative on the steel as it is on a cast iron stove. Like I said, this fire is fine. It's not going to hurt it at all.
Some people calling store and telling you it's too hot, store guys let them shut it down, I said no and then I said, you have to tell the people the same information because they're not understanding that fire needs to get that hot to cure the paint. I've been doing this for 30 years. I know exactly what to do.

so that's it, now the stove is running and I open/close the door a couple of times to put the woods in( for gradually cure the cement to 500), the gasket seems normal so far.

I will keep looking it....

Thanks again for everybody's help on this forum.
