Depends. Kids eat lunch at school, wife usually skips breakfast & eats lunch at work.

Don't think we're that un-ordinary - seems our dishwasher can hold quite a few dishes.

I don't think we're the only ones around here that only spend that much on DHW via electric - have reads lots of similar postings.
 
We do a dishwasher load about every 3 days for 3 persons. It takes that long to get a decent load of dishes. Most pots and pans are hand washed. Even when there were 4 of us we showered less, usually every other day unless doing heavy dirty work.
