Very simple put a smoke detector in the hopper when it goes off run downstairs and check out your gauge, etc.

Hyfire, are these stoves prone to warping? Ive been reading all i can on them and want to pull the trigger on a new unit. Not sure if i should save the extra for the enviro maxx tho if this thijng is plagued with issues. Looks like a great stove tho.

From what I been seeing on the board, some older models had issues, including mine, but I made a simple fix for it. The newer models are designed totally different, and no one has complained.

I concur with hyfire, in general this is a great stove and from what I have seen so far on the new design I do beleive that it is a better stove, I just hope the SBI comes around once more and give me a new model or give me my money back and if this is the case I will just turn around and buy one from Costco which offer a free ash vacccum with it!!
Don't forget, if I am not mistaken Enviro is a sub of SBI
