I would like to never buy any vehicle with less than 500 hp. Sadly, they just aren't available today, the too-short bliss of high HP early-2000's vehicles ended quicker than it started. The SRT-10 is dead, and was never even offered in 4wd anyway. I had to settle for 5.7L and 400 hp from the factory... which is just pathetic, IMO.My next truck needs 350HP minimum 400+ preferred. Since the larger engines have the ability to power down to just a few Cyls anyway these days, less reason to buy a small engine truck.
Still some Vipers around. Still fetching 50k at 15 yrs old.I would like to never buy any vehicle with less than 500 hp. .
I still prefer manually rowing gears, it’s just more fun. But the latest auto trans cars (eg. ZF 8HP variants) will outperform the best driver in a manual under every possible racing and road condition. If you want fun, go manual, but if you want to win at the track it’s gonna be auto.World of difference between the auto and stick on the Vette. Stick is fun as hell.

No interest in racing at all,and the wife wont settle for anything but a stick. Im ok with either one, but im not sure how my knees feel about it,I already wear an ankle brace. Good excuse to have her do the driving. I imagine it will be a tricky trying to keep the tires locked to the road with all the HP in front of a 6SP tranny.I still prefer manually rowing gears, it’s just more fun. 450 hp isn’t too shabby. Some bigger turbos and a tune and you’re there? Roush F150 is 650 hp
I actually googled it, my big Boss Ross Myers bought a Raptor last year and I remember looking up the EcoBoost Raptor and it having 450 hp. I’ve seen the Roush at Sands Ford in Red Hill

If that’s not enough, the Shelby F150 has 750 hp. Now, if I could just hit the lottery...
