I'm just outside of Cambridge. Yes, most of the trees are dead. I have 13 acres and there is a lot of bush around me as well

We have to drive a ways to bow hunt for moose and permits are getting harder every year. Now walleye in lake Erie is easy, you need a charter with some gear to get out 5 or 6 miles but we always get 25 fish or so, sometimes walleye, last week was mostly steelhead !

Impressive Glenn. Great stacks and you seem like a genuinely great guy too. I am a little over 60 and could easily get into a regular routine working in the woodpile. But I am still working and jog about 3or4 days a week so energy goes elsewhere ;)

Thanx Hickorynut

I am 62 now (how did that happen). I don't have the stamina I once did but I have learned that staying on task and pacing myself seems to get the job done! I also know that hydraulics are my best friend!

(Im really not a "great" guy, just ask swmbo)

Glenn

That is one beautiful collection of wood you've got there Glenn! I can't imagine the amount of sweat you have in that! After seeing your video, I'm thinking I might give up the wood thing and maybe begin building ships in a bottle! Great job my friend!

Thanks again, it was not that hard to get this far ahead, on my days off I commit to about 2 hrs per day ( first thing in the morning) and do what I can. I bring rounds to my work area and line them up. After I get a good pile I split, put the splits on my RTV as I split the rounds, drive to my staking area and stack. After a couple of hours I call it quits. The slow and steady effort really adds up! Surprised me how far I can get this way!
