who uses chimney insulation mix/pour such as EverGuard ?

Just got my first quote to bust out the flue tile. I've got about 12-14' to be removed. With me disposing of the old tile still going to cost over $600.....wtf???
That is because they don't want to do it. We typically don't break out without doing the install either. There is allot of risk involved and not much profit in it generally. Unless you charge $600 I suppose. But then again if it is a difficult break out that would not be to much at all.
