Burning some wood fuel blocks. It's 46 out. Inside is 72. This may be it for the burning season for us but then again I thought the same a week ago.
How many cords in your rotation?Never got to posting yesterday’s load before work. And also today’s. Oak, maple and ash for both. Going to warm up for a bulk of next week so burning will be reduced I’m sure.
How much have I burned this year or how much do I have stock piled? How many cords in your rotation?
We left Bradley Sunday am and it was a mess. Left late and our connector out of charlotte got cancelled. Lots of stress but we made it to our destination almost 23 hours after waking up sun am. By the looks of the yard this weeks weather was a mess. Lots of twigs/branches to deal with this week.Really cool. Hope you had a nice trip! You missed the ice we had here in New England.

Same here. First time in a while that I only had to do two loads one in the morning that took me to 8pm and then did a small overnight. After the fire this morning didn’t need to reload until this evening and did a 1/3 load of some knotty oak uglies. Kept the house plenty warm until the overnight. Low of 25 tonight. 46 tomorrow.
Oak and maple for overnight
As long as it gets the job done for your needs.I burn mixed wood in mine. No idea what KIND of wood I'm burning... its whatever I happened to cut when clearing land! I guess I'm an ignorant cave man rather than a woodstove hobbyist with intellectual insight into such things!
Ugh. Wood. Me make fire!
