Seriously, read my thread. Not a lot of posts, although some of mine are long....as usual. LOL
It's still under recent activity.
I was reading through earlier. I donā€™t know any other stoves very well to properly recommend one for your situation though.. canā€™t wait to see what you decide however šŸ‘šŸ¼

Just loaded up for the night. Massive chunk of ash (probably 8x8) , big chunk of oak (8-9ā€ split) , along with some smaller splits of ash and oak. And a touch of dogwood. Just a small dead branch. Currently 15 feels like 8, with a forecasted low of 6 tomorrow morning with a -5 wind chill.

Dragon just got it's midnight snack. R oak, R oak, 4'' split of beech, R oak, R oak, "smallish" split of pignut, and more R oak. Got tired waiting for it all to blaze up so I added 1 good sized split of black cherry delight, E/W at the base up front. Started taking off nicely.

With the door closed, I can look through the small gap around the rod for the bypass damper. I watched the lazy rolling blue flames above the snack. The dragon breathing it's fire. She's a happy girl.

Edit/add on: still pushing coals to the back of stove, and raking some up front for heating primary air. It doesn't take long to burn down the coals in the back leaving a void in the bed. Tomorrow I'm going to try another tactic. Placing two splits there, E/W, on top of those coals. We'll see if that keeps the coals fed to the secondary combustion. And yes, it does have secondary air source at that location. Although primitive.

Cruising along at 675+ STT with blower on max.
In the pic, just above the far left split, what's that ring looking thing?
There's even a flame that appears to be rolling out of it.

I'll end up deciding but won't make the move for some time. The parlor stove will be the last purchase of the four. Mudroom may come after or not. Many depending factors here. OWB is priority along with the kitchen wood stove.
