Remember everywhere doesn't have a shortage. I have 6 places within 15 miles from me I can get pellets at. Prices here haven't changed at all.

I like your words and hope you are correct, Send some east will ya, :)

Went to Rona, they are overstocked on pellets, the store manager was happy I was taking 1/2 ton....no shortages here.........

My understanding is that there is no customs duty on wood products, so if you're near the border, perhaps hopping over to a Canadian DIY place like RONA makes sense to pick up some Canadian pellets. if you're desperate.

With the exchange rate you will be even saving more! You can even check online how many bags are in stock at the selected store..some don;t carry many but they can be ordered in.. 477 bags in welland, 145 in St. catherines, Ridgeway unknown, call the store.

Ohgawd, Vinny11950, that was priceless. :)

This is normally the time of the year where I swoop down on Big Box Stores and other pellet sources with my supernatural frugalista super powers and make an offer. There's nothing on the shelves for which to make an offer... so it looks like I will have to buy my pellets like a mere mortal this year. Darn it.
