Just bought stove a week ago and over fires everytime I try to use it , way to much air and can’t shut down dampers enough ! Didn’t know if anybody else had this issue

How tall is your chimney? When you light the stove, when do you start turning down the air?

There are other threads about the same issue. Not sure if its the US Stove or one of the sister companies(same stove, different name). There are unregulated air holes causing the stove to run away. Best/easiest/cheapest fix would be a flue damper.

You can try turning the stove down earlier too. Watching the fire will tell you how it’s burning and if it’s ready to start turning down. Sometimes the thermometer lags a bit.
