Right now, we have one ton of Lignetics (got for $300/ton) one ton plus 20 bags of Greenway ($287.50/ton) and we are working ten bags of Fireside Ultra ($5/bag). We were looking to add to the stash and try something new since this is our first year with the stove, but the only other pellet I see right now is North American at Lowe's ($5/bag). We just finished some Chow and AWF Premium Hardwood and tried three bags of LaCretes ($7/bag). So, not many other options right now. We're not desperate, but I don't think what we have will last all winter.

Bought a ton tonight. Grabbed two bags to try and see how it goes. Worse case, I cancel the order.

Don't waste your money on the North American's.. If you're not in any rush I would honest wait a bit to see if prices may come down..? I've already seen a $0.80/bag drop in price at my local HD in the past two weeks. Don't know if it's just coincidence or if prices are really going down... All pellets on floor were 5.19/bag (stove chows). And when you buy by the ton they usually give a 5% off.

HD and Lowe's have basically been $4.98/bag since I started looking about two months ago, no matter what the brand. It's always the independent sellers that seem to raise the prices when the demand gets higher.

Just picked up 5 bags of the AWF (Softwood) White Pine pellets from HD in Middletown CT. 5.58/e bag and 269.00 a ton. Its the only HD in my area that had anything other then Green Supreme and Stove Chow. I will give them a try and see how they go.

So far so good with these. They may feed a little fast due to the pellets being smaller in length. Heat output seems good. Burn appears to be clean. I like how they smell when you open the bag; very piney. Even the skids outdoors last night at the Depot had that smell.

Bought 2 tons today, best box store pellet we have around here

I burned 1 bag and WOW the heat difference was very noticeable. However so was the fines, and extremely small pellets. Many less then a 1/2" They burn kind of quick, so I decided to try and Mix the AWF White Pine Pellets with the Green Supreme and Hmmmm I think I found a very good combination.

Unfortunately I have about 2 1/2 ton of green supreme pellets and might only need 1 more ton to get me through till spring.

We decided to pay the price and bought some bags to see what we think. The guy does usually give a discount if you buy earlier so if we like them, we'll stock up early next year. Just finishing up our FSU and then we'll start on these.

Iron Stove helped me pick up a ton of these today at our local Depot. We bought them Friday evening after they received a delivery. Thinking I'll start to use these when the temps really drop. Again, great smell. Our garage smells like a pine forest.

$269 for AWF Ultra white pine??? That's pretty darn good. They are $349 at my local agway. How many pallets did they have?

At quick count I would say they had at least 10 Ton at the HD in Middletown. I am going to stop on Tuesday on my way into work and maybe grab 10 bags more.

Ok so today while picking up a "few bags" The cashier told me they had about 22 ton on hand. So with that I ordered 2 ton. Might not need it all this season but hey I have room in the basement and why not!

Finally cleaned my stove sat afternoon, today there is hardly any ash buildup, Haven't seen this low ash since I had somerset's 3-4 yr's ago, decent heat too, had to lower the stove to a 1 from a 2, It's 74 degree's in here, outside it's a warmer morning of 35 degree's

My son gave me a bag to try and it's burning now. Flame is remarkably clean, the glass isn't showing an ash residue and the burn pot is showing very little ash. I may have found my new favorite pellet.

AWF Ultra Premium Whites burn very nicely and very hot in my Lopi Pioneer. Not much ash, whats not to like? At $270/ton at the Middletown, RI HD more than I like to spend but theres not much choice left. The pellets are small, very white and smell like pine. I'm happy with them, even at that price.

Picked up a dozen bags the other day. Tried several other brands but AWF's by far had the lowest ash and some pretty good heat.

I bought 3 bags of these yesterday at the Ellington, CT Agway. My stove is being installed tomorrow, so I'm excited to give them a try. I also have a couple of bags of Green Supremes and 3 bags of Lignetics. But at $8.95 a bag, they are a little pricey. Been having a hard time finding anything decent at a price below $300 a ton here in CT.

I am having a ton of the AWF Ultra Premium White Pine delivered this week, yes a ton was something like $345 plus delivery but not much around on Long Island that I know of right now. Tried a few bags first and really like them.

Tried them last week and loved them, here they are $249 a ton, $25 to deliver. Northern Michigan.
