I ordered this Teen connector from Chimney depot and it appears to be just a hair to large. Has anyone had luck crimping it down a little? I thought i could slide this right into the back of the stove but no luck. Any insights are appreciated!!

This is for the Intrepid II, yes?

Crimping is an option. Use a good quality crimper. The cheap ones can be frustrating. There may also be an adapter. What is the ID of the flue outlet?

Yes intrepid 2 with the majolica brown enamel. I de- burred the edge of the stainless steel too with my flap wheel grinder but it’s just not sliding in. I will have to reduce it some how.

A good crimper will work
