As you can see from the picture It looks like the welds on the baffle have let go and you can see that the lid as started to lift. I can squeeze it back down so there some movement. Is this a problem that should be fixed?

The perspective of the picture is from the side. You can see the ebt2 tube opening if you look carefully. I have replaced the baffle gasket and reseated the baffle but sould i pursue the issue of the welds.

Wasn't like this last year. All other aspects of the stove are like new

How old is the stove? This may be covered under the warranty. Take it into the dealer and ask?
 
What does the opposite rear corner look like?
