...Yeah I know how much sailors hate tying knots. But you of all people know the pleasure of setting fire to the Washington Post. And then washing your hands of it. :cheese:

I knew more than a few sailors I'd have enjoyed tying into knots. The Washington Post...hmm...they just could never seem to get over the heartbreak of me changing from 7 days/wk to Sunday only. I expect another call any time now. :-P Rick

Ain't it the truth. I canceled even the Sunday only 19 years ago because the guy kept trying to double bill me. I still get those calls asking if I want to go back to seven days. I always tell'em that Woodward and Bernstein pissed me off. Knowing some kid in a boiler room somewhere is asking themselves "Who?".

My neighbor keeps me supplied with Vanessa Chow.

I'd be happy to send you a few weeks' worth of the Bend Bulletin, but I gotta warn ya...you may not be fully prepared for the heart-stopping import of what's reported in this paper. Today the top story was about a hiker who climbed up over the peaks of all of the "Three Sisters" (mountains in the Cascade Range) in just 6 hours, 39 minutes. Pole Creek Trailhead to the Devil's Lake Trailhead. Front Page. Bottom half of the front page featured a story headlined "Who needs gasoline if you've got old beer?". I didn't bother to read that one, because I never have any old beer. Rick

Used one today on my second break-in fire. Tried without Super cedar at first then had to run and break off a quarter to get it started. Worked great, thanks!

Just got mine in the mail today. First sniff reminded me of my grandmothers cedar chest. Can't wait to light one but I hope that is two months from now. I might use a peice in my firepit on one of these cool weekends evenings. Thanks Thomas for the samples!

Got mine on Friday, thanks! Cant wait to try them

Got mine! I will be testing them later this week.

Their all that and then some. I've used every thing but gas to start my insert and these super cedars are no match to any thing else.
Thanks for the great offer

It's like having a push buton for start up's on your stove!

Thomes,

Super Cedars is an excellent product. My order traveled from your facility in northwest Washington to central New York in just 5 days. Excellent service!

This Christmas a buddy will receive a few of mine for the survival pack he carries on his many hunting trips.

Your annual offer of free samples to members of this forum is a generous and genius business decision. Many rewards will flow your way.

Best wishes for a prosperous year to you and your employees.
