Time to get a new one to enjoy the stove, when I lose one I adopt another right away.For the first time in my life, I’m dogless. We lost our lab/cheesie mix December last year and our lab/beagle mix in August this year. Both lived long happy lives (~15 years).
It’s nice to see all the doggos in this thread enjoying the warm stoves the way mine used to!

i grabbed him and brought him out the front door, as I let him go he let out a nice tweet, assume he said thanks in bird languageI’ve had birds in my stove a few times, they always seem to be blue birds....weird. Now I screen the cap in the spring.

Hey, the stove has the same effect on me.... [emoji5]No pic, I'll get one tomorrow but my dog was in front of the stove from 11pm til 3pm the following day with a 2 minute pee break. The heat makes them lazy.
My girl is part husky and part snoopy. Forget the fire, she is outside on her doghouse watching squirrels.
