Sears and Amazon price battle on Fiskars X27

Stopped by Walmart just to see if they happen to have any since it's on their website but sold out. The Assistant Manager took me outside to the garden department where all the trees and and wreaths were and opened a locked long shed full of off season garden inventory. Found the only two X 27's. They were marked $49.97. He let me have them for $40 each, $42 with tax. I took em both and am going to give one to my neighbor who lets me borrow all kinds of stuff from his garage and shed. He has a cracked/duct taped 8# maul. Can't wait to give it to him. SCORE

I have give two X27's as gifts. Probably one of the funnest gifts to give because to a guy who has been using a monster maul his entire life a fiskars is life changingly fun.

Makes great conversation at the table. My buddy gave me a breaker bar for my birthday a few years ago. I thought it was a great gift. The wives, not so much. They couldn't figure out why we were so into a straight piece of shiny metal with a socket at one end.

Now an X27...I wouldn't give that gift in a restaurant...might make the manager nervous.

By the way, I love my X27!
