The ladder in the back of the pickup reminds me of my brother with the 24' extension ladder standing on the roof of his Jeep SUV. He needed to paint the drive way side of the house and this got him to the top. I was safer than on the ground because it was tied off to the roof racks. Tieing off the ladder something that won't move is the way to go. If I can the first thing I do is tie off the top of the ladder to the tree or roof.
