Just what we need more government lackee's on the payroll sucking the private sector to death.

We don't need more inspectors, especially not ones that are invaiding private citizens lives.

Where do we draw the line? We could have building inspectors come and tag all of the houses that aren't up to snuff in regards to insulation and energy efficiency. If we get all houses with R40 walls and R60 ceilings think about all the good that would do. Less oil use, less for the power plants to supply. If your house isn't insulated enough you have 90 days to fix, and if you don't fix it then they get slated to demo. Think of all the open space we can gain!!

Government nutrionists could cut down on obesity rates, that would be for the general good. Think of all the saved health care dollars!!!

Count me out. There isn't a measure of money I could save due to the collective cost savings, or a measure of better air quality gained, that would balance the further errosion of our freedom.
