Ravelli was previously call Ecoteck. Company in Italy changed hands apparently.
Forgot to mention, the screws are a "T" bit (can't remember size off hand). They strip easily. Changed them out for stainless Phillips.

A touch of never seize on all the screws helps alot too. Still have most of the originals but they should have been bigger.

I would add that Ecoteck was an american brand. They were/are Ravelli in Canada.

Had to keep the trip to a minimum to get the yard ready for a wedding ... Spruce Pointes coming on Friday but todays temps don't equate to winter coming (high 70sF). Last week I would have believed it - low 60s F in the house

Hi Sharon.. I'm a little late to this thread.
We have an RV100C bought in March this year.
It does take a while to setup and to appreciate the enormous amount of heat it puts out.
We have an extremely good dealer (we live in a very rural location) he's 20 miles away.
Since this was our first stove, we found dealer support was vital.
Cleaning is a sinch, the feeder mechanism can be a little loud (maybe that's just us).
We love the style and the high tech controls.
Spending that much money I would definitely entertain the purchase of a Harman. Very happy with mine. If I wasn't everyone would hear about it. I do not sugar coat anything at all. And I am no salesman nor have vested interest or stock in Harman. But I will say they are great and highly dependable pellet stoves so take that for what it is worth. What you are looking at could be good as well. I can not vouch for that.
Anyone stating any model reduces that much consumption is a flat out BS'er. Otherwise we would all be on the Ravelli train. Kinda sounds a little too good to me. Just like the 24-36 hour burn times in cat wood stoves. Yeah, OK.
I am also not saying some do not get those times in very mild cool periods. I can with an out dated OWB under those conditions and that unit will burn straight up junk wood.

Many are and every model and make has their quirks. I wanted simple set it and forget it with minimal cleaning and maintenance. Dependability, support, and parts availability were a huge factor too. What good is anything hi tech or easy to clean when it is not throwing heat when you need it the most. That is what eliminated an Enviro for me. Inability to get needed parts in short order and the clown dealer. Although they are good stoves and I did like the ones I was looking at. Just part of my experience back when I was cornfused and not sure what to plop down some cash on.
It is a big decision and not a chump change investment. CYA and invest wisely. I know I did. I am just not happy watching pellet prices rise almost immediately after I bought dos of those babies.
Just bought a rv100 this past october. Works great for me as I have 1,000 sqft open floor plan, I also bought it cause I loved the look of it, it's not a eyesore as some of these other pellets stoves are and size of it is less than others. The heat output is great I only used 2 palletts last winter here in massachusetts.

My husband actually got a free Whitfield Pellet stove today from a neighbor who did not know what was wrong with it. My husband just blew it all out with a leaf blower and it works. He said he would like to replace the auger motor.
Is the Whitfield a good stove?

researched also for about 6 months before we bought our stove...
Harman P61a..... great stove, Xtra Large Ashpan is great to have along with many other things....
wanted something that was a bit overkill in BTU's but liked the fact that we don't have to burn Full throttle all the time as we would need to with the smaller Harman models.
Inserts to us seem to be too many more steps to clean and maintain.. smaller hopper also as opposed to the free standing stoves..

Whits where the first freestanding stoves and were pretty fair design. Once sold to Lennox things went south.
Compared to a P68 probably not but the price is better. Many here have heated for quite some time with the Whits and like them. The 68 is a set it and forget it unit with very low maintenance and cleaning requirements. I'm glad I bought what I did because of my busy schedule. If I would have bought a high maintenance stove I would not have liked the pellet heat likely or had second thoughts. Many here have started out with the more hands on stoves and switched also. The Whit is not going to push and throw the heat the 68 does. There are many variables and things to consider including buy in expenses. It is all about what these variables are worth to you.
I was a slave to wood processing and wood chucking without the time for that. Things got way better with the ease of use 68. Probably not much better if I would have bought a high maintenance non-stop cleaning pellet stove with problems.
The older Whits seem to be reliable units. I do not own one so I can not say for sure. But I can and will say I really like my Harmans. Your money, your choice.

Need to know what model you have before we can help. I saw a first model on CL yesterday. While it may work, I would not attempt an install as they had no safeties to prevent overfiring, venting stoppage or shutdown if fire out. Advantage series were pretty good.
How is the RV100 working? We just bought one. Replacing a stove in a house we just bought.

We're very happy with our RV100 which is in the basement; so much so that we bought the RV80 for the main floor. It's essential that your dealer sets up the RDS system correctly. If you've any questions - just let me know. Good luck!
we have the rv100c now for 6 weeks running 24/7 with temps at -15 at times. Great stove runs perfect. Previous stoves have been, ENGLANDER 55SHP, Enviro Mini A AND Vista Flame VF?? 70k model. Still have the Vista Flame in the basement but do not run it. The only thing that would make the RAVELLI better is if you could program it to change temps without shutting down and restarting. I have it programmed to start at 0600 on power 5 and temp 72 and have it go off at 2300 and restart at 2330 at power 3 temp 62 and go off at 0530 so it can change temp at 0600 to 72 etc.... Wish I could set it to stay on 24/7 with temp 72 @ 0600 and change temp to 62 at 2330. I get up at 9am and then change the temp and power manually.

I think the older ones would do what you asked,is built into the programming,maybe reread the manual?I am spoiled,when it gets really cold,all I have to do on my Harman is flip a switch for that mode.
Unless I'm missing something Bob I'm unaware of a p series that allows programming for different times of the day. Flipping a switch does work if your home or awake. I personally haven't played with the program modes so I'm not sure if it's doable or not.

Maybe I misunderstood,I thought he wanted the stove not out go out,just cycle between thermostat temp,and low burn,I think they called it modulation burn.But,I been wrong before,and will be again!
