Wow, beautiful stove, house, and piles you've got there. I'd say that's just about the ideal setup.

Nice looking install. I can almost feel the warmth. What's that sitting on a stump in the 4th pic? I like the deer proofing. Suggested to the wife we do that but she prefers to curse the deer instead.

Hey Lig, on the stump there is a birdbath with the bowl turned upside down...

here's the splitter

and the tractor to run it, remember the commandments Lig, thou shalt not covet thy neighbors FEL :)

+1 and that is one great looking stove!

Ansehnlich--very nice - good shot of the Oslo and how much wood you put in it--that's a help to me--I don't think I am adding enough wood but had an issue with the ashpan door and gave us too many scares -- am building back confidence in the stove -learning how to control the burn- looks like you have a good start on next year's wood supply. Nice house and beautiful hearth.

Have a great new year!

Sung to the tune by Janis Joplin...

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a few Ford N's.
My friends all drive 'botas, I must make amends.
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends.
So oh lord won't you buy me a few Ford N's.
Oh lord won't you buy me a new ATV.
Dialing for dollars is trying to find me.
I wait for delivery each day until 3.
So oh lord won't you buy me a new ATV.

haha my friend, I KNOW that tune, tells ya how old/er young we are eh?

and Buffy, I thank you for the comments, I gotta tell ya that I pack more wood into that Oslo than you see in those pics, I've been burnin chunk wood over the holidays, and whatever other stuff I have layin' around, and saving the big hefty splits for when I go back to work, and overnighter's.....

That sure is a pretty stove and an excellent install. I also like the wood piles. Unlike mine, yours are very neat and orderly. Excellent is all I can say.

Huh? I always thought your stacks were second only to highbeam. Well... except for that one your wife had to straighten. :-P

Thanks LLigetfa. Can't seem to get the wife out there right now.
