Hello. I have just moved into a home that has a wood stove with "Family Hearth Stoves" on it. I can not seem to find any info on this stove. We can't seem to get the stove to keep the house warm and it hasn't even gotten cold yet. We previously had an Ashley and it would warm a 2-story, 4-bed home well. This new house is a single story stucco, 3-bed home (much smaller and more compact). If we get the fire to burn hot, it doesn't last at all. But usually it burns cool and still doesn't last. We are fairly disappointed so far and hope it is just lack of knowledge about this particular stove.

TIA for any info or help!

Take heart, when we moved into our house, the heat just went straight outdoors. And the old Majestic Insert ate wood like candy, giving little heat back in return. But now we are doing well with tightening up the house, insulation and a proper running stove.

Can you post a picture? It may make it easier to figure out what's up.
