Curious, do you load from the side or the front? I have an older top load and use the top for loading. I never felt comfortable opening the front doors. Love the 600 but don’t believe I have the clearance for a side door.
I am using the side door exclusively. I will likely open the front sometimes but the side load option is way cleaner.

Looks great. Keep us posted on how the overnight burns go, etc. compared to the castine

Maybe a handful of times I got an overnight burn in the Castine. So far, the F600 holds enough coals to restart a fire for about 8-10 hours. What I really love about it is the useable heat time frame. Even after 5-6 hours the stove is still putting out heat with a stove top temp of 250.

Looks great. Let us know the burn times and controllability. HAPPY NEW YEAR and HAPPY NEW STOVE!
Thanks!

The stove has fantastic burn times and is very controllable. I have found that, because the stove is so big and the draft is so strong, I can tune the air intake by sound. Once you know how it operates you can dial it down to the point where you can still hear air going in, but not rushing in, and it burns perfectly.
