When you use threadlocker in the case of an engine assembly, there are generally three strength grades, red being the strongest in the case of Locktite. Application of heat is required for subsequent disassembly...so thread locking products, I think, are not applicable to woodstoves. Rick
 
If you can post a picture of the stove burning in the Perfect Picture section that would be sweet! It's a stunning installation and all it needs is FIRE!

Thanks I will do a post in the picture perfect section, small burn in fire last night. Just to get the moisture out of the bricks. Then a couple of 3-4" splits at 8 pm. Actually the breakin fumes were not too bad. Just ashes this am, cast iron still warm.

Extremely satisfied.
