My Leaf blower attempt

I tried the leafblower today on my Enviro EF3 and wasn't overly impressed. I'll start by saying I was using a 10amp electric blower with a good fitting on the pipe. It did clean some of the stove but it didn't sell me. I performed my usual interior vacuuming and got it all cleaned as it should be. I guess its not for all stoves

I did a full cleaning today also, after I am done with the internal then I use the leaf blower, I had a little more black soot come out, but my dogs ran away when it came on It cleans the vent well.

What you have to realize that if you had done a regular cleaning THEN used the leafblower you would have gotten the about the same amout of ash out of the stove.

And I didn't discuss this in my earlier post but my dealer recommends that someone be on the inside of the house and use the heat exchanger scraper and open and close the door several times while the blower is running. I didn't get a chance to see my stove tech clean my stove when he fixed my poor burn problem.

You're on the right track... do this again at seasons end and you'll find more ash.

thanks for the video, I am thinking of trying this, I generally keep my stove really clean and shop vac out the inside and vent pipe but this year the stove has been burning a little strange.
