Multiple unit options Garn

I heat 5400sf with a Garn jr. the trick is in the delivery as much as the boiler.
I’m only a couple hrs drive if you want to see one in action.
I have well documented the trials and tribulations of the Garn and my set up, do a search as I won’t get into that here.

Lean more toward what jebatty wrote, I dot think you need anymore than one Garn or other brand of boiler, 2 tops.

The best advice I can give is find a contractor experienced with designing a wood burning hydronic heating system.

I will second the opinion that this space could use a wood chip boiler. you could be talking about half a million to a million BTU load for all these places. there are several chip boilers made by Heizomat, Windhager, and Heatmaster that will meet that load. you can still spend time in the woods, and put your woods to use, but have 100% of your load covered with no need for backup fuel use. not that I wouldn't suggest still having a LP backup boiler in place for peaking and taking over in case of a breakdown.

and absolutely you should have the entire heating system properly engineered by someone who knows what they're doing. I'd suggest Appropriate Designs in NY. This design would be falling into the realm of a specialist.
