Shouldn't be a problem as long as they have a good oil burner tech that can set it up properly. There are a TON of things that can be adjusted/changed on oil burners to make them work properly for any given install. If you have one of the AFG series Becketts, I'm told those are decent burners.
It was pretty common to see coal furnaces converted to oil years ago, like I said before, proper setup is everything.
