Well I have been burning for about 3 months and have gone through about 1.5 cords. This has been a very mild season for us so far but I haven't burned through nearly as much wood as previous seasons. I'm about half what I would normally be. Granted our home has been cooler than years past only running 2 fire but still I can't believe the amount of wood having insulation in 1/4 of the house has saved us. I think this year I will hit 3 cords total compared to the 6 cords I have been going through in the years past.
