Hello,
I have a 3 yr. old Jotul F500 V3 that somehow has the air chamber ( part 86 in user manual ) hanging down. This left a gap with the combustor and the air chamber on right side ( see photo ).
I had local service company clean out the stove & chimney, They are ordering a replacement for the "top air refractory member" ( part 91 ) , which they said was falling apart & causing the air chamber to become loose and hang. But not so sure this is the cause ?
What holds the air chamber up against the bottom of the combustor ? I don't see any bolts that do this... Is it wedged in place with the side left & right refractory members against the sides of the stove to hold it all in place ?
Any help with understanding this would be appreciated ! ☺️ Thanks.....
