Intermittent issue...What can the problem be?

Your t-stat doesn't have the ability to handle a solid fuel device.

There is no way to set a swing or dead zone (a temperature range that results in no state change at the control board of the heating device) on it. The stoves controller is doing what it is supposed to do (weather it has a full deck to play with is a different matter).

The stove is restarting. During start up the fan is off. That's the shut off. The pellets piling is the programmed feed rate during start up which is two minutes of feed constant to fill the pot. That's why it's ok during manual mode. I think you have a short in your tstat wires if not, then tstat short, if not then control board issue but you replaced the board and the problem is still around. Traces the tstat wires from the board to the tstat wire connections. I think you find the problem there.

I follow what you're saying. Maybe I should replace the tstat wires altogether.
I also bought a new surge protector for the stove. I hooked tstat back up after getting new surge protector and have run it on tstat for two full days now and not once has the issue presented. I find that interesting. Don't know for certain how surge protection might be connected, but did want it in order to protect the new motherboard. I'm just hoping the new motherboard hasn't already been damaged somehow. I had it unplugged all summer. So, the new board has only been used during month of May, then unplugged, and then just started using it again in Sept. It's improbable, but not entirely impossible, that it could already become damaged with so little use. In first stove motherboard was bad from day one. So, not sure if maybe there's an issue with motherboards in Bella's manufactured at that time??? Lennox is not communicating with me or dealer that sold us the stoves, and I've not come across anything online regarding that suspicion. So little to go on for such an irritating and repetitive issue between the two stoves. It might actually boil down to something in tstat wires......

I have no expertise on a pellet burner at all , but the mechanic in me has been reading this with interest.
Just an FYI, I run some new tstat wire for a wood furnace install last year, used a regular Stanley staple gun to staple the wire up. I was very careful to not staple (pierce) the wire, but I still had weird intermittent "heat calls" even with the tstat off (also a Honeywell focuspro 5000) After about an hour of hair pulling I found out that one of the staples was shorting the wire...wire was just like I wanted it, centered in the staple and the insulation did not appear to be compromised, but when I loosened the staple the problem went away...I have a feeling this is gonna be one of those weird type problems, maybe even more than one problem, those are lots of fun!

One thing I thought of earlier in the thread was something that I have run across in the past, on various kinds of equipment, especially when something has been worked on a lot. If you can pull the circuit board(s) without too much trouble, pull 'em out and look at them real close under a bright light with a magnifying glass. Look for tiny "cracks" around where anything is soldered to the board, right where the pins come through and are soldered to the strip(s) on the board
Also, look for anything odd looking, brown or burnt looking spots, loose connectors or pins in the multi-connectors that are loose or not seated completely. This kinda stuff happens more than you would think, often it can be fixed DIY

Or a new wire disconnect that is not rated for millivolts that is heat sinking the signal.... Seen that a lot

I'm very ignorant when it comes to electrical things so my question may sound silly, but what kind of wire do I need to get to replace my tstat wire? Can you provide a link, or name or gauge or whatever? Thank you.

Edit: The current wires are in a brown sheath with red, green, and white, wires coming out of it. They are solid wires. I got on Amazon and I'm see phrases like "gauge", "stranded", "solid", and so forth. Just want to make sure that if I order or go some where local that I get the right thing.

Most home supply stores have furnace thermostat wire and is called such. Only need duplex but most of the time has more to control fan and a/c
