Was burning last night into this morning. Best sleep I've had for a while with the distribution fan and doorway fan covering the noise of traffic.

I gave mine the final cleaning and blocked them off from the outside. Damp rid is in the firebox. Can't believe how late we ran them this year.

I cant believe I have burned pellets in june
I can't believe I'll be burning again in September.. Final cleaning (again) tomorrow..

You guys in Maine and Canada are hard-core, still burning. But it's been cooler here in NH also, hope you get good Summer weather soon.
Stove is clean, flue block plate is capped, stove parts are being sanded / painted, OAK is being installed .. We're done for awhile here.

I was a June 30 burner - took the chill off this morning. temps outside heading back up, so I'll pull the plug (again). Maybe I'll actually get around to a good cleaning over the holiday weekend.

i just missed being a july burner. burned a little two or three days ago.
today the spirit moved me and i started the year end cleaning.
strapped the shop vac to the ladder and vacuumed the vent. it's about a 4 foot horizontal 4" pipe, and i burned close to six tons this year.
i didn't vacuum it once and it was nowhere near clogged. maybe if i had 3" inch venting i'd be more concerned. but this is the second year in a row i haven't bothered with it till year's end and it works just fine for me. no detriment to burn quality at all.
my old drill bit the dust on it's last project, so tomorrow i'll get another and run the linteater, pull the motor and put the new one in (the current one will be the spare) and replace the burned out igniter with the lower wattage one that should last longer. getting tired of replacing them.
clean up and dust out inside the cabinet, room blower, etc...
no paint needed this year. just going to spray stuff down w/ graphite and or wd40 where needed, put the damp rid in, plug the vent and OAK and mostly forget about till late september.

I get it at Home Depot. Comes in a little tub (10.5 ounce). Only costs a few bucks and keeps the rust away. It gets very humid around these parts and even though the stoves are sealed up moisture can find it's way in.

Thanks. Of course, now I have the 4LB tub from Amazon, can I just take some amount of that and put in some container (plastic cup) and place it in the stove? That tub is NOT going to fit, even removing the pseudologs.

I would get the small tub I posted above and use your big tub to refill. The small tubs are refillable. They have a small basket in them that the stuff sits in that allows the collected water to drain and sit in the bottom of the tub. Take a look at one of the small ones and you will know what I mean.
