Hello, brand new to this forum and very excited about my recent score of a Hydro-Heater at the cost of half a tank of gas. That said I have no clue about this stove other than if I had the welding Skills to fabricate it I would have. I am on second day trying to find information on this stove with no luck. I am trying to find out who manufactured this stove so I may completely understand it. It was built in 1980 So it shouldn't be an issue

Whow! I didn't think they made stoves that loose as late as 1980. Looks like an old Franklin stove. Are you sure it doesn't say 1880?

Never seen one!

I know this doesn't help, but I had one of these growing up in Pennsylvania. Was installed during the 70s. Ours was actually an insert. I just found a photo of it, searched google to find more info, and found your post.

Years ago I got gifted Franklin Stove had two fires in it and thought it was a waste of time and ordered our first boiler which we called the PIG then discovered gasification and storage and haven't looked back! Good luck with your stove!

That was the house I grew up in. Current house stove is a Lopi NexGen Hybrid. Burns a lot longer than that old stove!
