I got this tree early last winter (no leaves around to help I.D.) from a house near my job (north shore Long Island). It had come down rather recently , and the crown held the 20' trunk off the ground, preventing any rot. It split real nice, was c/s/s immediately, and is now right at 20%. Any guesses?

It looks like the tree was fast growing, judging from the growth rings. I can't really say much more from the pictures.
