Like I said, I feel your pain. No, I haven't heard a single word from them. I'm in Clinton. After countless emails the best that I got out of them was that they would be giving me a call the day before delivery... gee thanks!

I'll be honest, I'd rather not have the pellets sitting around my house until I actually need them. OTOH, this outfit has been so shoddy that I'd also like to have the pellets in my possession just so I can quit worrying about it.

The company who delivered my pellets said that New England Pellets LLC has only one primary supplier which is NEWP in Jaffrey, NH. If they were having trouble filling order before, I bet it will be even worse after the recent fire at the Jaffry plant.

Has anyone heard anything from these guys?????

I know Geek received has last month, but has anyone else had any contact with them?

I would contact them very often. I don't know how far you are from the company you ordered from. In April of 2007 I contracted with Dogwood Energy of TN for delivery of 3 ton of pellets in August for $199 per when the rate here was $230. August rolled around and I started calling weeks before delivery date. They kept telling me the driver would call the day before delivery. I kept calling as they pushed the delivery to the first week of Sept. Finally they quite answering the phone. I contacted the TN Attorney Generals Office and filed complaint. Another customer from PA got an email from their president with a list of customers attached. There were 500 names on the list. I was calling twice a day and leaving messages on every extension. One day I got thru and talked to the owner. I heard sob stories about her Mother being sick, drivers quitting, etc. Long story (and several bottles of bourbon later) I finally got a check about 4 days before they filed bankruptcy. I felt very lucky. Never again.

This is the reason i'm getting away from pellets.my former dealer(more then stoves in vernon ct) lied about my 6 ton order from the beginning.i still dont have the phone call or the pellets.i hope all the dealers that lied to us go belly up soon.

I cancelled my trailer load order (that was ordered mid-May) a couple of weeks ago; other folks that went in on the order with us decided it wasn't worth the anquish any longer and we all went to Tractor Supply and got ours with an in the mail coupon for $235 a ton, no hassles.

Just curious, has anyone actually gotten a delivery from them lately ?

Yup. Had 5 tons delivered this past Monday that I paid $230 per.

Obviously you are a better shopper than I am.

I hope you receive yours soon.

Why do people like this respond with such attitude? If he has no good advice, then just don't respond. Too many mean people in this forum sometimes. I love this forum, but whenever jerk-off's like this repsonds, it saddens me. Oh well.

I see no such thing in the quote you posted.

Perhaps you should switch to decaf. It can be just as tasty as regular coffee. ;-)

Huh? I don't see anything in what you quoted that
warrants you calling this person names.
I too would recommend cutting back on the caffeine man.

Same here!!! I love this Place :-P

you guys, it is now MID OCTOBER and I STILL do'nt have my 3 tons of pellets from NE Pellet LLC!!!!!!

Every time I've called the last few months (intermittently) I am told, as others on this forum have been told, that they ran into a shortage but they are working hard to deliver yadda yadda. Most of the time now when I call I get voicemail with what sounds like an exasperated message stating how sorry they are that they are behind yadda yadda again. I paid for my pellets in April and had agreed to delivery "after labor day". So as soon as labor day came I called and that's when I found out they were so far behind.

I had 3 bags of pellets left over from last year and the last bag is in my stove now. I've been using my propane heat to take the chill out as its been in the 20s the last few nights. I called yesterday (AGAIN) and once again got vm. I told them I really need my pellets!

Like Geek I am on the outskirts of their delivery area so when I DO get to talk to someone there, I get the song and dance like Geek did about them not wanting to have to send a truck up here just for me, or a similar story. Well, hello..they were quick to take my money and assure me at THAT time that it wouldn't be a problem. Now that its time to do the delivery I get sighs and pissings and moanings from them that I"m "in the boondocks".

I do not want my money back,I want my pellets. Pellet prices are insane now and I simply can't afford it. This is why we buy early!

I'm disgusted and when I finally get my pellets (IF I DO) I am then going to tell them that I'm very disappointed and I will also mention this forum.

Because before I ordered there I was on this forum checking up on them and everyone was speaking highly of them. So when I spoke to the guys there I told them about this forum and how they are spoken of highly and they were all excited about it. So maybe they will be less than excited to hear that we are now pretty much disgusted with them.

The guys I spoke with when I ordered tooted their own horns loud and clear about how many trucks they have and how all they do is pellets etc etc making it sound like they really had a grip on their business. Well why now that its the middle of October and I"m freezing my buns off, don't I have the product I paid for in April???

Anyone else still not get their pellets from these rip off artists??

Why don't you try the Mass consumer protection agency or the State Attny Generals office. Last winter, here in CT, State AG Blumenthal, was all over the oil companies who took $$ for pre-bought oil and then couldn't deliver when prices shot up. What you probably have there is similar, they took you money and then supply shot down. If I were you I'd be worried about not getting my money back and not getting any pellets. They could be using your money to by pellets for the local regulars.

The AG got camera time.the oil company's had no money to return to there customers.thats why it was against the law.

really sorry for requin and others, really am.

I got very lucky that I got mine in August, and I think they delivered it because another delivery in Chesire (close by town) was in schedule. otherwise who knows...!!!

When I spoke to the truck driver I mentioned frustration of many here in the forums, he completely agreed on our grief but at the same time he mentioned all the trouble in supply the company was going through, and he seemed to be a very honest guy.

I really hope they learn the lesson for next year, good luck to all of you still waiting, keep up your faith...........

I'm hearing the same cr@p over and over, so you're not alone.

I do not want my money back,I want my pellets. Pellet prices are insane now and I simply can't afford it. This is why we buy early!
Exactly!

I really don't think they care what their customers think or say.

Because before I ordered there I was on this forum checking up on them and everyone was speaking highly of them. I knew better right from the beginning, I even warned others in the main thread earlier this spring. Shame on me!

The guys I spoke with when I ordered tooted their own horns loud and clear about how many trucks they have and how all they do is pellets etc etc making it sound like they really had a grip on their business. Well why now that its the middle of October and I"m freezing my buns off, don't I have the product I paid for in April???

Not me!

See my notes above.

When I talked to them yesterday morning, I was clearly getting nowhere so I began to get a little upset with them. I've been patient up to this point since I knew they were behind and I haven't needed the pellets. Well, NOW I NEED THOSE PELLETS and I have not received anything but empty promises, unreturened calls/emails, and BS since I placed my order in May... I got an attitude and was told that I could drive up there (in a couple of weeks no less) and pick them up myself. I said NG. After I started to get a little short, I was finally told (second hand) that the owner said I'd have my pellets by the end of the week. We'll see, but I'm not going to hold my breath waiting! I asked "when" so I could prepare for the arrival, but they couldn't tell me what day. I asked if they could contact me the day before the shipment? "No". Can you call me when in route? "No." Can I call you this weekend to get a feel for where the shipment is at? "No, they'll be there when we get there and you need to do what you need to do to be ready." Nice...

I hate to be pushy, but their actions (or lack there of), lack of communication, and empty promises are WAY beyond what should be considered reasonable at this point.

I really don't think these guys are out to screw people, they just have the worlds worst business plan and customer service...

I'll let you guys know what happens towards the end of the week.

yeah, let us all know wet1.....really curious to see if they deliver this week.

Please call your Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. You must do this to get action. I'm having flasbacks again hearing about this. Long story short, I had a similar problem with Dogwood Energy out of TN last year. It got to the point that they wouldn't answer their phones at all. Paid in April for August delivery. I got my $600 back in October right before they filed bankruptcy. I was one of the few to get refunds. Hundreds, if not thousands of people got stiffed over pellet money. Don't hesitate, these people work for you and their job is consumer protection. The company is better at jacking you around and they have no real incentive to take care of you over anyone else.

i just went by the yard in enfield ct.it looks like they had 50 to 75 tons there.

I am surprised there hasn't been a lynch mob hanging around the buildings by now

johnnywarm...thanks for that info. I think by next week you'll likely see lines out to the street.

if you dont know the area its hard to spot it.they keep them in the open faced shelter in the back.there are a few different businesses in the building. more rent space in the back of the building.

Anytime for a fellow member and pellet head.its across the street from a big truck dealer(ken-worth) i think.

I know exactly where it is, I live about 5 miles away. Close enough to make a racket if need be! We should go as a group (those of us effected), what do ya think? I know, I'm probably opening up a can of worms here...back to work now :)
