I stopped by the one in Claremont NH,they had just the Greene Teams, so I passed as I have no experience with them, how much better or worse are they then MWP's or NWP?
They claim to have more NWP's coming in a couple weeks.not sur on price but mentioned they will be the same has Home Depot (thats why they are at 197 now).
They had 20-30 tons sold of those Greene team and marked with customer's name for p/u.
Will take a chance and wait another week.

Lowes Seabrook has 50 tons consisting of a combination of Maine's Choice, Green Supreme (NEWP) and Greene Teams. My brother scored some GT last night. FYI, most of the GT is "spoken for" the clerk said.

I called Lowes and yes they will take another 5% off with the card,of the 197 per ton. Delivery to my house is $65 thou (more then the 16 the lumber yard charges and they bring a pallet jack to move them to where I want them). I asked an employee and he claims Lowes is selling pellets at a loss.
They have Green Team and NEWP, both about the same quality (only familiar with NEWP-which I thought where ok,not great but not bad)) correct ?

Lowes doesn't sell anything for a loss. Where I work we sell products to HD, and I can't believe what we sell it to them for compared to what they sell it to the public for. Retail is where you make the money, not manufacturing. Don't let them fool you.

Oh they do indeed-read their 10k,both Home Depot and Lowes will carry "loss leaders" and thats what they are doing with pellets. I asked how long they would be on sale for 197 at Lowes and the response was "as long as Home Depot keeps theirs at 197".
Kinda like the airlines years ago in the "price war death spirals" till they made it up in baggage and fuel surcharge fees.

I still laugh at the old Amazon line, we lose money and sell dollars worth of good for 79 cents but make it up on volume !

Just got 4 tons of Green Team at the Springfield, Ma Lowes today. The price was $209 a ton. Not as good as the $197 but I am happy to get them anyway. None of the CT Lowes has them in stock. Now to get a little oil for showers and I am all set for the winter.

Just picked up 16 bags of GT's today for $52.08 I had a coupon for $10 off $50 purchased, came out to 3.31/bag. I currently have a 10% coupon and will be using it to get another ton or two this weekend. I still have a complete ton of last years TC's and since the price is as good as it is I'm jumping on the deal wagon even though I only used 1 ton last year and don't need anymore, the firewood is 5-6 cords that will be used.
