Hi all!

The flat 1" wide gasket on the flat front of my Harman P 68 which was put on years ago needs to be replaced. I went to the dealer we bought it from and they said they were not aware of such a gasket. ( A service tech recommended it years ago.)They could only refer me to tubular one that goes on the door itself but that one is fine.

Any suggestions? Thank you!

Are you needing the door gasket or the glass gasket? Both are listed Here

There is a flat adhesive backed gasket for the ash pan door at the bottom. The door gasket is rope style.

Thank you! I suppose I could use the gasket you describe. It is to go around the actual opening to the stove itself.

Where would I get that gasket?

Thank you!

There is no gasket other than the door gasket or the ash pan gasket that Ssyko posted above
This is the link

Neither. I need a gasket that goes around the opening on the stove itself so that when I close the door, it butts up to the flat gasket.
Sounds like the "tech" who put that gasket on either didn't know much about Harman stoves or put that gasket on to avoid having to replace the rope door gasket.
Harman P series stoves only have the rope door gasket.

That makes sense. I was having a hard time figuring out which gasket was needed.
