Country stove identification?

Bought our home last year with this stove and tonight we finally gave it a shot, it was a disaster.
Is anyone familiar with this stove ? There are holes on the outside that lead to tubes inside the stove with holes in them, we attempted to stoke up a fire and the smoked roared into the house. Amateurs somewhat, folks raised us on a wood stove but this thing has me baffled.

Could be a Performer S210, but more pics would help, especially of the firebrick configuration.
