What heat emitters are you using in your shop? Just wonder what return temps you see to your tank. Huge range from baseboard to radiant tubes in the floor.
 
The test runs shown in the tables involved the boiler only heating storage, no other heat loads. In my case the storage tank IS the heat emitter, a large radiator in effect. For these tests it was mostly insulated (minimal intended heat radiation) and outside temps were in the 40-50 range, so heat loss would have been very much on the low side.
