Muncybob bought it already. There's one other guy in line here if HE doesn't like it.

It worked good.. it was slow, but took the skill out of setting the angles with a file.

I use this to sharpen all my chains. I've cut 5 or 6 cords with one chain and now it stretches so bad i'm going to throw it away. I have also been using skip tooth chains so they're less teeth to file

5-6 cords is really, really low. I have only used Oregon and Stihl chain- and now I will only buy Ariens. It is seriously the bomb.

I buy the Husqvarna chains. They have "husq" stamped on the sides of the teeth. not sure what the difference is between those and say an Oregon chain. I get them from a local amish guy for really cheap, like 12 bucks for an 18" chain. I would imagine they cut them off a bulk spool.

I only buy Stihl chains from my local dealer for my saws, they seem to last a lot longer than wholesale chain from Laser or Oregon.

The Stihl chain keeps a sharp edge longer. I'll touch up a chain ( by file ) every third tank of fuel, each saw has 3 extra chains in their cases. After four filings it's time to use the bench grinder to set the angles back to spec. We cut mostly dead standing or leaning white ash and winter time is tough on chains.
