Burning again....

Burning season.....over here, Period!

Suprisingly for the middle of May, it's "burning season over here," too. Low 40s for several nights, so with no backup heat I had no choice but to fire up. After the final fire on Sunday morning, I really should be done...really! After this mid-May cold snap, though, I'm done pronouncing that I'm done.

Forecast low for Pittsburgh tonight is 37 degrees. Rather than using the gas furnace I've got the stove fired up. Thought I was done burning a couple weeks ago. Hopefully, after Sunday night the stove will lie idle until October.

If it got down in the 30s here, the house would be falling through the 60s; Not happening.

Got the Jotul going tonite. House kept the chill from last nite when it went down to 36*. Outside, going down to around 40 about now. Burning some leftover Envi's. What the heck, you live only once.

Its nice to get a few more nights out of the old stove isnt it? Im sitting in front of my super 27 enjoying the heat on my feet. Its much better than socks and a blanket ;-) right?
