Are log cabins good at keeping in the heat?

    We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
I wouldn’t buy a log house because of some superior heating or cooling sales pitch. Do it for aesthetics maybe but the benefits of logs are not big enough to sway this decision.

There are other better ways to have more thermal mass and higher rvalue.
